Do y'all think Elko comes?

With TCU and Tech open he will definitely get HC looks.

Jimbo had Pruitt and Stoops as DC at FSU I believe and they fielded pretty good defenses.

What about OC?

We definitely want elko

I’m hoping jimbo brings in an oc that installs some newer concepts. Wishful thinking.

I think Elko may get a shot at the aTM job if Jimbo leaves

My perfect scenario (for Jimbo) would be for Elko to come as DC and Jimbo bring in little Riley as OC and give him the reigns and play calling

Jimbo isn’t coming but in your scenario, I’d bet Elko takes a HC job somewhere.

It is wishful thinking and it’s the main reason I don’t want him. Jimbo isn’t Saban. He shows no signs of loosening his grip on the offense.

Pruitt

Dude is as radioactive as Chernobyl. He isn’t getting any looks for any major P5 staffs for a while.

So with a guy like Jimbo, there isn’t that need to get an expensive offensive coordinator
He’s a 2 fer unlike O and Miles where we had to pay millions for coordinators

Not exactly. Jimbo’s offensive philosophy is what is keeping him back now. He’s a great program CEO and recruiter. He just has an antiquated offense that he needs to bring in someone to help modernize

No it's not. You witnessed what LSU did with it's running game when it went away from a modern offense, and installed an extra big body who then took out linebackers and safeties beyond the line. We set school records that game. Jimbo has the experience to adapt to each defense he plays, and not wait until the 7th game of the season to do it.

He adapted his offense and beat Saban. Even got up to a 14-point lead a couple times during the game. Joe Brady is proof that modern offenses aren't the answer, if you don't have elite personnel.

Are you basing this on carolina?
If so that's the wrong way to look at it. The pro game is much different.
