Kind of like Ray Perkins following Bear Bryant.

Perkins was 32-15 in 4 years (and it included an unacceptable 5-6 season) but still won 3 bowl games. His last season was 10-3, but incessant Bama booster pressure forced him to apply for the Tampa Bay HC gig and he left.

They will only burn through one before your golden calf leaves for Tuscaloosa. And you will be the ones at the airport, giving him the middle finger and cussing at an airplane

The difference between Bama and Auburn is y’all haven’t done shite since 2013 in comparison. I wouldn’t yap much considering it’s been 12 years already. At least Bama fans deserve to talk shite. Y’all are like the Arkansas of the east.

We don’t even have a coach this season and we have a better record

The guy’s from Idaho too. And his wife divorced him because she didn’t want to live in Tuscaloosa. Can’t blame her either.

Hilarious. Literally not a word of this is correct.

He’s from South Dakota and they are still married.

Why... so LSU can claim to have the shortest tenured head coach in SEC history? Or one of the shortest, anyways.

Y’all are a shell of what you used to be 7-8 years ago. And trending toward mediocrity. The decline happens slowly

We are a shell, if anyone would know what that is like it would be you guys. How many coaches have yall sifted thru in the last 10-15 years.

Saban had a big advantage when there was no NIL. Hence the reason he quit.

I thought about this. Then I’m reminded of a lifetime of bad football coaching hires outside of Saban and I’m not young either. If Kiffin can go on a good run and stay until he retires LSU might would name the stadium after the man. I live in Alabama and would only want to coach there after they have fired 3-4 coaches.

That’s why LSU fires a coach every three years, ok.

Yea most of the bamas on the rant have a level of knowing contentment. Though the crazies may just be relegating themselves to the bama board.

Those Saban teams were three deep with guys that would have started anywhere else at almost every position. That will never happen again for any coach on any team in the NIL era.

Correct. With the first game of the century you could have easily fielded a legit NFL defense with all the talent from both teams.

NIL is going to create more parity, especially in an expanded SEC that includes Texas and OU now.

So you think not living up the greatest peak in CFB history is fireable offense? lolol

Only the insane bandwagon fans think this. They have zero power

As an LSU fan I’m not as plugged into all the angst Bama fans feel regarding DeBoer but he’s a damn good coach. As long as the fans don’t attempt a coup and allow him to build rapport with hs coaches and a reputation with recruits he’s going to do a lot of good things.

Just keep pumping money into the program to hire top assistants and fund NIL and the Bama brand will be fine.

I don't know, they still own UG and LSU and if you do that you will consistently be at the top of the SEC.

If they lose the SECCG, do they make the playoffs with 3 losses?
