If Holgorsen goes to Houston, who gets WV?

That’s an odd job. Probably in the 20-25 range and hard to recruit.

Plus most of the coaches are settled this time of year.

Seems like promoting someone already on staff would be the route they'd go.

I'm out of the loop, is Dana wanting out at WV?

Or is his seat hot?

Next year could be tough. No guarantee he would survive a 5-7 type of season.

Spavital would have been the obvious choice. Guess he could always pull a Manny Diaz.

Hey, maybe RichRod can get out of his Ole Miss deal. You know he can win there.

Kidding. WVA is sort of a strange job. They should offer Leach. He was made for that kind of job.

Wow why didn’t I think of Leach

That’s a match made in heaven

But why would Leach take the job? Seems to me to be a lateral move.

It's gonna have to be someone that plays "gimmick" football. Tough to win there consistently.

WVA is higher up than WSU, if not a real top level job.

WSU isn't close to recruiting and was a bottom level job in the Pac prior to Leach. WVU is consistently top 25 and closer to decent recruits in PA and VA.

WVU is totally ok with the maverick part of Leach. I have no clue if any of this happens, but it's enough of an upgrade for Leach to consider.

There is no way in hell Rich Rod-WVU would happen again. At least not for a while. Too divisive for the fan base.

Two names I’ve seen thrown around the most are Neal Brown from Troy and Dan Enos from Bama. That’s what our reporters are saying anyway.

Hey, I said I was kidding. I know that split was not on the best of terms.

My fault. Read your post quickly and missed that. Just saw Rich Rod and thought “hell no” haha

Seth Littrell or Neal Brown makes sense.

I was told that rich rod did tell WVU that he is very interested. But I wouldn't think that was a possibility either.

and hard to recruit.

Not really

WVU has been recruiting well in Florida

WVU is 3 hours from DC, an hour from Pittsburgh and not far from Ohio

All good areas we get players from

What their record in the Big 12? Over or Under .500?

Has it been 5 or 6 seasons?
