Frank didn’t love LSU during the Saban years. I remember that well.

It's what these "Nola legend" recruiters who can't coach do.

The same shite happened with Jaluke. The Nola HS coaches went ape shite at O when his shitty arse was fired. Jaluke is the neophyte-Wilson.

If it's strictly a money thing, it would be insane not to pay him. I have a feeling that's not the case.

Frank was promised a spot on staff by Saban and Nick reneged on it after signing some of his OP Walker players.

Frank had a reason to be pissed

All of this is purely rumor mill stuff. Sounds like a bunch of nonsense

If he’s a cancer, no we don’t want him. I trust our head coach.

Yeah, I don't think it's a money thing.

My guess is his head got even bigger and Lane came in and Frank thought it would go one way and it went another.

Maybe they can pacify him with more money. It really is a headache.

Lots of smoke...LOTS.

If Anderson doesn't sign tomorrow it basically confirms it.

Kiffin knows how shitty our running back rotations/development etc have been. Kiffin has to do what he thinks is best. Frank should take Charles Baglio role

. I'll just trust whatever Kiffin does with the staff,

I bet you said the same think about Kelly

*ETA: and Orgeron
I'd say the difference here is Kiffin knows how to recruit this area, Kelly didn't.

And I thought he had Orgeron as a recruiter, if he wants.

Know what makes good “RB rotation and development”? A halfway decent OL and rushing scheme.

I mean if Frank is truly sabotaging the recruits to retain RB coach title…that’s just fricking sad and if leaked out, would almost blacklist him. It’s one thing to poach recruits when you flip to a new school. It’s another to do that out of spite. Don’t think he would do that but who knows

I still think it ends with them keeping Frank for a year or two and attempt to move him elsewhere again before outright letting him go. Think Lane is going to want to judge whether or not his recruiting will outweigh Frank’s lackluster coaching skills

Orgeron would be a good recruiter but he’s universally disliked by a lot of NOLA high school coaches.

For what it’s worth, I still think Lane would do fine recruiting wise even if he lost Frank. Might make getting NOLA guys harder but I still think Lane would be fine

We will be fine regardless. I think I and a lot of others learned a lesson when Kelly let Raymond go. The DB room got ugly real fast and then got fixed almost immediately.

Kiffin isn’t Kelly and he knows the deal. We won’t replace Wilson with a Robert Steeples, I know that. But life woukd just be a lot easier with him on staff.

But but but he loves LSU. He lives for LSU. BS.

Just like Orgeron's dream job was LSU, but it was USC before and Ole Miss before that.

Used car salesmen are all thry are, its why they are so good at recruiting, they can lie to you while looking you in the eye and you'd never know it.

Lane has a RB coach he has alot of history with, if he comes then I dont know where that leaves Frank and thats probably the issue.

Dont think Frank wants an off field position.

As much as it will hurt, if Lane wants his guys, you let Lane have his guys. I understand continuity but shite the list of coaches we must keep for recruiting sake is getting longer every year. No head coach wants that.

Remember Lane was told that admin would stay out of his way and let him coach his team.
