Nick Saban

Nick Saban wasn't responsible for all his top recruiting classes for over 10 years.

If there is one aspect I really wouldn't criticize Miles for its his recruiting. It was top notch.

I just think its funny how people continue to say how easy it is to win with "all that talent"

Takes a lot more than talent to win that many games

I just hope he coaches outside of the SEC. I like the man a lot. I don't want to see him get beaten by LSU. I certainly wouldn't want to see him beat LSU.

That's why LSU was so good in the late eighties and nineties.

Do you remember who coached Jordan before Phil? No because he was unable to win with talent.

How many championships did Dale Brown win the O'Neal, Stanley Roberts and Chris Jackson? none.

Talent doesn't mean crap without coaching.

People like you make me want to pull against LSU. Les is gone. Get a life and move on you piece of shite.

Doug Collins. And he couldn’t beat the Pistons in their prime w Jordan alone. Terrible example.

That was the point I was making to the previous poster who said Les Miles was a bust for not winning more titles (claimed he could have won 3 and a couple of his friends could have won 2) with the talent Miles was given. Then responded to the question of who gave him the talent by stating all the talent that comes out of Louisiana, as though they are required to attend LSU.

You mean the talent that from the late 80's through the mid 90's was going out-of-state until Gerry DiNardo stopped the bleeding?

He'd be a smart hire for ole miss. Could recruit well there, brings a big name and clean reputation. And he will just be there long enough to get through the sanctions and set the table for the next guy.

I'd rather see him further away but it would be a smart hire for them if he'd take it.

It was actually over 10 wins a year average through 2015. We fired a solid 10-win coach (with a huge buyout) just to hire a friggin shrimp boat captain. Unbelievable.

IamTheSearch should be hung, drawn, quartered, buried, exhumed, shot, and burned at the stake for this fiasco.
