Mullen has Gerry DiNardo syndrome. He’s going to go down with his D/C regardless of the criticism.

Mullen's a very good OC, but he's never been a scary thought as a HC.

Same reason I don't think Franklin going 9-4 at Vandy automatically translates to success at LSU

But that logic ignores the fact that he's at a major program right now

Mullen had 7 DC in 9 years at State. Grantham is the only one that will put up with Mullen's shite for more than 2 seasons.

Coaches who I thought were IT that were LSU or available to LSU that didn’t pan out: Mike Archer, Curly Hallman, Gerry DiNardo, Dan Mullen at Florida, and Jimbo Fisher at aTm.

Biggest stupidity, Curly Hallman.
Think I’m still right. Jimbo at LSU. But don’t want his tainted arse now!

Wow! Forgot Herman at Texas.

For sure. When everyone was drinking from the Tom Herman goblet in 2016 I was really hoping Smokin’ Joe would pull him out of Moo St.

Yup. Hopefully they make a bad hire when they get rid of Mullen.

Orgeron
Chizik
Miles

One of these things is not like the others.

Miles was far from perfect, but he was light years better than Chizik or Orgeron.

Orgeron and Chizik had undefeated seasons with Cam Newton and Joe Burrow.

Miles was undefeated in '11 with Jordan Jefferson and Jarett Lee.

Okie State should have been in the NC game and that would have been the greatest season in LSU history. I try not to think about it.

Everything I've ever read about Dan Mullen was that he was an insincere prick. Perhaps his personality has caught up with him.
