It says we have hired a new DC but are in talks for a new HC. sounds fishy.

Is LSU taking the Jerry Jones approach --- hiring the staff before the new coach?

How would they hire Tenuta and then hire a HC later? Would SS not be able to get his own staff?
Not that I don't like Tenuta b/c he has done a lot with very little. But would SS want to bring Nix along or hire another DC?

well...they sure as hell aren't going to hire any staff and then hire Spurrier. Not happening.

The fact that this news was posted somewhere besides the rant does not make it reliable. It needs to be reported by someone who has credibility and whose job depends on maintaining that credibility.

Is this the same blog that mentioned Rich Brooks was thinking of retiring? Or was that collegescoops.com?
Anyway, Brooks came out and told the media it was all bullshite from his cell phone in a recruits living room (by the way, he got the verbal from a 4* defenssive back).
