Eli Drinkwitz came from the Sun Belt to Mizzou and seems to be ready for it.

It took him a couple of seasons. He started this season on a really hot seat.

For the fact that he's a former Sunbelt coach, I dont think he's ready for either.

Also, Drinkwitz beat Napier two times in that one year. Napier had been at Louisiana Cajuan for a long time and Drinkwitz with no HC experience beat Napier two times in 1 season.

Hugh Freeze's first HC job was in the Sun Belt. Jeff Brohm has Louisville at 10-1 and in the ACC title game. his first HC job was WKU while they were in the Sun Belt. Those are just a few examples off the top of my head.

yes, but Napier didn't get it done at Louisiana Cajuan when he was there for a long time.

Yep, I thought 3 years, but he still got beat by a rookie HC twice.

Will not be bowl eligible after next Saturdays whoopin by FL State.

Dude is 100% way over his head. Sunbelt = not ready for prime time.

Duh! Two of those Sunbelt seasons he finished in the top 20 and well above LSU so shut up, you look stupid. They have to promote winning G5 coaches. These old guys cannot coach forever.

I hope they give him an extension. Florida will never get off of the mat with that clown running the show.

He stepped into that. App State had won the conference 2-3 years in a row at that point. Previous coach Satterfield had just left to go to Louisville.

Didnt get what done?

2 top 16 finishes in his 4 years there.
4 of his 5 OL starters on 2020 squad are current NFL starters on the OL

Billy Bob's job is safe this season. His seat will be hot in 2024 though.

Hard to believe the Gators have not been bowl-eligible the last two seasons with the resources they have.

a team.Fla.has been through how many coaches since CUM.Keep
the revolving door open the rest of the SEC loves it.

With the new portal and NIL rules he clearly would have. Being bowl eligible is not a hard bar to clear…

They were bowl eligible last year (got killed by Oregon State in the Las Vegas Bowl). This year they may not be eligible.
