This irrational freak-out by some fans is what led a weak and feckless Joe Alleva to hire Ed Orgeron as head coach and leader of a $100M organization. I personally love the fact that Kelly is taking his time to find the right hires for these important positions. Obviously it would've been ideal to find two bad arse coordinators right after the Kelly hire and lock them in but that very rarely happens. After the O firing, we knew there was going to be a drop in recruiting for the year. If anyone thinks we're going to have a top 5 class this year, they aren't being realistic. Kelly isn't just building for next year. He's building for longevity and the the only people he owes any explanations to are Woodward and the big money boosters paying his salary. If you don't fit into those categories then he doesn't owe you anything.

The only people that are "owed" answers are the school administration and the BOS. Arguably, current coaches and players should be given some information to guide decisions.

It would be exciting to know who will be on board as far as coaches. But we as fans are not owed anything, nor should we expect it. I coached HS school sports for 30 years and the hardest part of the job was dealing with parents and fans who thought they were owed an explanation. As a coach and an administration you are tasked with developing the best program possible. You have to let it play out. It is like putting together a giant puzzle when the picture is constantly changing. I know all this opinionated guidance by us as fans is just entertainment. lol

CBK and/or SW don't owe this to anyone. He was just hired. Be patient for a minute. A lot will happen over the next couple weeks now that ESD is over and playoffs begin. Stop stressing. It will get done! Go read about all the Urban Meyer drama and entertain yourself for a few mins.

I know his is going to come as a shock, but this is how real, major football programs are run. No leaks. No one running their mouth. Getting rid of the trash.
We haven't brought in an "outsider" to coach our program since January 2005, and I feel like half this board was in elementary school then...
