I don't hear a peep about him, and it appears that he is waaaaay under the radar.

Forgive me for asking, but has his performance afforded him the radio silence?

He just requested a 3 year extension for himself and the BOS granted it. He's here for at least two more years, because he makes money, that is it. His track record outside of that has been horrible.

If Miles were to go to Michigan for some reason, would anyone really have any faith in Awena to hire a replacement?

If we allow Alleva to hire a new football coach may God have mercy on our souls.

Alleva has been a good AD. People blame him for things that are beyond his control.

Again, TAF will NOT allow this to happen. There's no way they have any more faith in him than we do.

He won't be safe for long. The ADs have killed the golden goose by expanding the league too much.

It all sounds cool and profitable short term, but long term it's a blunder. SEC championships are getting harder and harder to win. In all sports. That's a loser. Good luck asking for more money and then more money. Meanwhile, those big trophy rooms collect dust.

Giving a $400,000 raise to a coach that hasn't really accomplished much was well within his control.

Allowing the Women's bball program to be driven into the ground by an egregiously overpaid coach he hired is not beyond his control.

His two men's basketball coaching hires were average at best overall. I'll give Trent points for winning an SEC regular-season title. All Johnny Jones has finish .500 in the SEC each season and he's already lost to two crappy non-conference opponents. I've yet to see what Nikki Caldwell has done to earn her signficant salary.

Most of his hires have been good ones on paper. People give him too much shite. We dont know if jonny jones would be a good hire yet. Womens basketball? Who cares? Trent was a good hire on paper, just didnt work out

Yeah, that's not a good hire.

Curley Hallman was a good hire on paper. Just didn't work out either.

Agree with you Godfather, Tiger fans won't have to worry about Alleva making a Football coaching hire, Big Wigs wont'allow this and they will have the say so just like when Emmert was theone who got after Saban not Joe Dean. TAF and bigger whigs will tell Alleva who to hire. Don't worry Tiger fans all is in good hands if it does come to that , just hope and pray the Big Whigs put pressure on Alleva not to cave in and give Miles another raise, and higher contracht buyout than he already has.
