How many here would think Mullen is a bad hire, if LSU couldn't get Jimbo?

There it is folks!!!
He has averaged around bringing in the number 23 class in country the last 5 years at Mississippi State. They have the worst facilities in the Western division. They are historically the worst program in the western division. He is responsible for 6 of MSU's 19 bowl games. What he has done is nothing short of miraculous there.

I think he'd be a solid hire. I'd definitely take him over Orgeron.

Mullen isn't a big time recruiter, so no. First and foremost, you got to be a recruiter these days.
If he was a top notch recruiter he would be near the top of my list. He is a hell of a good coach though. Did good things with little to work with.

Just cause you have a love fest going for Mullen doesn't make your point true. Mullen has never been a good recruiter. He might have some coaches on his team who can recruit by not him. So no you are the dumb one.
