This makes me think you don't follow football or maybe you haven't followed recruiting that is.

I mean regardless of what you think his recruiting classes have not finished lower than 35 and that is incredible considering recruits have to agree to play in Starkville and know they have a small chance of playing for championships.
It doesn't matter if he or anyone else on staff brought in recruits. At the end of the day they all agree to play for him.
So to say he cannot recruit or he is a poor recruiter is false.

Yeah? Forgot Dak played in 2010 two years removed from the Croom era when they went 9-4.

Mullen made Dak. Forgot coaches were beating down Daks door

Don't want Mullen. Just assume O stays before Mullen comes to Lsu as HC. All in for jimbo is what alleva needs to do. Then Herman. After Herman Keeping O and the current staff looks better and better

Correct.

I still wouldn't want him here, though.

Mullen should have never taken that job. He basically put himself in coaching purgatory. He's a good coach that'll never get the chance to prove it. He should have waited until something better opened up. He tried to fly too soon. Now it's difficult to gauge how good he really is.

For what it's worth, Mullen at LSU is a much scarier prospect than Orgeron. He's done things at State that I never imagined possible.

Who in the hell would have the energy to consistently pull together great recruiting classes out of Starkville?
