So let me get this straight the guy is the offensive coordinator for the first G5 team to ever make the playoffs who also had them on the brink of beating Georgia last year. Who also has had them winning more than 10 games for the last several years.
And the rant wants to ask why he was fired and demoted 7 years ago? 7 years ago I was in a completely different profession and since then I've obtained many new skills and have climbed ranks in my new profession. 7 years is a long time to have personal growth.
People aren't stagnant you know it is possible to obtain new skills and knowledge and grow. Look what slinger did with his newly obtained knowledge in 2019.

they are valid questions and your slinger comparison isn't that rock solid.

He also demoted him from his OC position in 2014.
7 years ago? recently he's been quite good at running an offense

so we'll ignore all recent data as a Broyles finalist this season and just focus on him being demoted years ago?

Cincy had a great offense this year. For the what have you done for me lately society.

this just makes more sense than bringing in a Kendall Briles for example, even if that would be more exciting.
all star coordinators, as we well know, don't amount to shite if the HC isn't on the same page with him. Alignment folks, Kelly spelled it out for you in his presser. Our program now has a clear vision, not just subject to the whims of a meathead that googles something currently popular in football.

Would seem weird that Kelly would bring him to LSU when he basically fired him at ND after the 2016 season. This. He also demoted him from his OC position in 2014.
7 years ago our H.C. was also finishing up a 4-8 season. Yeah, time changes things.

If he can craft that kind of offense at LSU, let's go.
They've been pretty balanced with Ford and Ridder rolling it

People really get stuck on an idea and can’t ever believe that coaches change and improve
If we hired Jeff Grimes the mouth breathers would talk about how bad he was at LSU.
Really hard to find a coach that hasn’t been fired at some point in their career. That’s just the sport.

The past 3-5 days I have been saying Denbrock should be considered the favorite. As of now.
Things can always change though.
Regarding Denbrock:

regarding OC: I was told Denbrock should be considered the favorite. But another name that was floated around was Briles.

I am not fully confident in Denbrock either, but I was told he should be considered the favorite. He said Briles cannot be counted out as well.

Possible. If I had to say, I would say Denbrock is the leading candidate for OC. Has a great relationship with Kelly. He would coach the TEs as well.

I’m sure he’d be traveling to BR with those bag tags

Going to be interesting if he's just out recruiting and someone snaps a picture and the media runs with this.
Would a dude really leave his team before the CFP?

For reference, Cincinnati is #44 in total offense this season but #4 in the country in yards per play.

I am Just not willing to ignore everything because hw has a top 10 offense thisnyear
Last year he was 17th in scoring, the year before 60th the year before 23rd the year before that 111th
It’s a bit inconsistent.
