Who's also been a multiple time OC in the NFL. Basically the same as melting over Ensminger.

Who do you trust more with hiring an OC, Saban or Orgeron?

Yea ok

If Orgeron had won 4 championships in 8 years mainly relying on defense? I would guess there would be no melt if he hired a long time NFL coach with Super Bowl rings who learned from one of the best NFL coaches in history

Haha. Get real. I wasn’t even trying to make a point except some of you are melting to levels never seen before, and are forgetting that there are tons of capable unknown OC’s out there . I forgot who the Bama OC was and decided to look him up. His resume would have caused you to melt

It's amazing to me how many people try to use Sabans career as some boom mic drop about every dumb shite thing that O does

O is not fricking Saban.

If LSU had Nick Saban as HC with multiple NC there's no doubt people would be questioning the move far less.

Since LSU has shrimp boat captain with a losing record all-time as HC every thing he does should be questioned.

Hiring a coach from the patriots vs promoting the tight end coach who’s been on staff for one of the worst offenses in the conference for the past seven years

Chicken forgot to log into his tiger ree troll account is the only excuse I have for this comparison

If O hired him, yeah maybe.
If Saban hired him - nope. We trust in Saban's decision making.

That this board would not have been happy with Daboll. That’s not the type of sexy hire everyone is pining for.

I’m 100000% against Ensminger being the OC. The way I took the post was that just because it’s not a sexy hire doesn’t mean it won’t work. Didn’t see it as an endorsement for Ensminger.

I was here until midnight lobbying for Briles or anyone but Ensminger so miss me with that shite hombre

There are. We should try to get one and not a guy who hasn't been an OC in 20 years.

Again...Saban could hire pee jay at this point and I’d trust him on it. Ed doesn’t get that benefit, hell he just fricked it up with unlimited funds not one damn year ago

Don't forget one important part, he doesn't want to be OC.

fricking this. I'm so tired of people acting like O has anything even vaguely resembling the goodwill and leeway that Saban has earned in being one of the best to ever coach the game.

just to show you how ridiculous your post is. I wouldn’t melt if saban hired Ensminger because saban would be our coach. He has won national championships with many different OCs. I wouldn’t melt if saban didn’t even hire an OC

The bottom line is Orgeron is reliant on his coordinators. That’s why we were promised the best. Do you ever hear saban making any promises about coordinators?

Saban’s decision on a coordinator.
O’s decision on a coordinator.

Those 2 things are not the same. Talk to me about confidence in any decision O makes/made when he accomplishes half of what Saban has.
