Discussion with Jimbo last year was in the 7 year 50-55 million range. LSU may not have aTm oil money but athletic department is far from broke. LSU donates more to the 6-8 million per year to academics from athletics budget. Academic budget sucks because 50% of State budget goes to medical care expenses. We have an idiot for State governor.

I don't want Jimbo to go to A&M, not because I think he'll dominate there or anything of that sort, but because I don't want the FSU job to come open when we're trying to hire a coach.

It's bad enough that we have to compete with A&M And Florida already, FSU being in the market really scares the shite out of me.
