I mean with the fact he makes 4 mill someone should be able to offer 3 or 4 more a year to peak his interest get his pay around 7 or 8. And still be inline with crazy buyouts some of these other teams have.

He’s at his Alma mater. Don’t see him leaving anytime soon.

Yea. He’s not leaving. And Miami will be bringing that number up pretty soon.

He’s not leaving. Luckily for Canes fans Donna Shalala retired in 2015 so less chances to frick it up

We still think that the difference in 4 and 6 million is enough to lure a guy away from a job he loves?

Why in the hell would richt leave? He's definitely in the twilight years of his career and he's rolling at his alma mater and happy as a clam. I'm quite certain that the last 16 years he's been coach at UGA/UM he's banked a fair bit of money so that's not really going to mean very much to him.

He genuinely seems like he's having a blast too. Not sure what more you could ask for. At some point it really does stop mattering how much money you make. I think he's smart enough to realize he's there.

Miami is arguably one of the best jobs in the country.

Ehhhh

Its a private school in Coral Gables with a shitty fan base and average facilities.

It has the talent base and "The U" marketing from back in the day, but its not an Alabama, Texas, USC, Florida, LSU level job.

They don't have the alumni throwing millions at the football program like these other schools with regional cult followings. Miami is a city filled with people not from there.

Although Richt is campaigning to improve facilities

LSU fans shouldn't talk shite about any school's fan base. They literally hit the latrines at halftime and never come back.

Look I don’t think he should leave but if you have a school that can dang near double his salarie especially if he wins natty my guesss is he listens if not to at least gain more leverage and pay at Miami for him and staff.

Coach Richt is going to finish his career at his school and then go on to be a Christian Missionary I'm pretty sure. Rich's actually walks the walk of his religious faith. He's not leaving Miami for more money.

It should be one of the best jobs in the country. Their administration has a long history of not really supporting the football team.

Like someone else said, underwhelming facilities and a stadium an hour away from campus. No bueno.
