But but but they paid off $25,000,000 of Saban's debt.

You've got some legit sources brah.

It's all heresay. Both sides have sources that they want to believe, but as we stand here Friday, nothing is official either way. Herbie isn't saying anything that hasn't already been said up to this point.

I've never lived in Alabama, but I know enough to know that Cecil has a good reputation and he wouldn't tweet that unless it was a done deal.

It's over, Doc.

Suck it up and move on.

In what fricking universe does Cecil Hurt have a good reputation? He's a gump, and not a 15%er either.

I'm sure Saban will sign the deal, but sheesh, that guy is a redneck buffoon.

I thought he agreed to remain at Alabama a couple of weeks ago?

Did Cecil Hurt confirm that story?

I don't remember any reputable Baton Rouge media (maybe somebody at WAFB did?) confirming that story. And certainly never was there any reputable report of Miles actually signing a deal with Michigan.

Cecil Hurt isn't Herbstreit.

Jeremy Fowler ?@JFowlerCBS 1m
Told by Bama source contract talks w/ Sexton 'fairly routine.' Alabama approached him about new deal before Iron Bowl, nothing got derailed

Nice to have a debt-free coach! Thanks, rich texans!

Laugh all you want but if any of that debit story is true and some bigshots paid off his debit and he backed out? I would suspect that at some point something very bad will happen to Saban.

I'm not aware of a more reputable reporter in that market (Tuscaloosa/Birmingham).

Name somebody more reputable in that market.
