Exactly. He doesn’t make the playoffs next year, nobody’s talking about him like they are this year AND he’s no more leverage so even when his son graduates Highschool, he’ll be stuck in that $hithole because he didn’t strike while the iron was HOT. It’ll never be hotter than right now.

So LSU goes through the process of firing BK mid season and willing to pay huge buyout because he wasn’t getting it done just to turnaround and hire a less than stellar coach on the cheap?
I don’t believe this is LSUs mindset man. They are going to do whatever it takes to get one of the best coaches out there.

Saban is not the type of guy to screw around when there’s work to be done. LSU graduates a good chunk of high end talent. The race is already on to secure classes signing in less than a month. If he was serious about the job he would already have a deal in place and working on getting staff and everything in place…….every single person close to this man has definitively stated in a multitude of ways there’s no way he’s giving up the life he has now.
Kiffin leaving Ole Miss before they play their playoff game would be the greatest anti-recruitment tool ever for LSU hiring away a quitter. He stays and leaves after the playoffs and he enters a situation where 1) the 2025 class has all left and signed elsewhere and 2) the cupboard is bare after key graduations and transfers…..or he could just hold ole miss donors hostage after the biggest season in program history and secure NIL funding and take all the top high school and portal players from LSU and the other schools in an offseason where it’s highly advantageous to be in the position to poach
Other schools seem to be making progress already on hiring someone. Meanwhile the governor attacks the most important coaching agent, interferes with the athletic director, and lets it be known that big contract coaches aren’t welcome. That we are still hearing about lawsuits and buyouts not being reached with BK while all other firings have been completed without issue…..
All signs point to Jimmy Sexton and Joey Freshwater attempting to pull off the most epic troll job in CFB history. Not only is it personal with Sexton after the governor attacked him, but it makes sense strategically. Sexton gets all his guys paid. Kiffin destroys LSU, one of his permanent rivals. The recruiting class would be picked clean and the transfers numerous. Other top coaches already at other schools by the time Verge figures out what happened. Only to make an underwhelming hire and set LSU back a decade.

Saban was 34-24 at Michigan State and didn’t win a Big 10 championship before LSU made one of the greatest hires in history. At the time a lot of people considered it less than stellar.

This for update Philly! I believe you.

There’s no way anyone with knowledge is giving you valid information knowing you run to TD and share it all.
Anyone who believes you have a lick of credibility is gullible.

Well how do you know his source knows that he runs to TD to share the info or that he even has a TD account?

lol wow all that just to say you hope LSU whiffs on the hire so it makes faggie lives easier.
Just say that next time. No need to type a novel.

Sadly this is probably more on the nose than LSU fans want to admit

Sounds like wishcast porn for an Aggie more than anything lol.
They forget about 2022/2023 already ? lol

The only problem with all that bs is LSU will likely give any candidate a deadline to agree or they’ll move on. Nobody is holding LSU hostage. But feel free to panic preemptively I guess

Why is the Florida side so confident that Lane is their guy?
Posted on 11/13/25 at 11:47 am to reauxl tigers
Good question… my guess is this is the first time in a loooong time they’re realistically in play for a “splash” hire…. So it’s kind of new territory for them. So I’d imagine their fans have convinced themselves that it’s happening, Much like LSU fans and Lincoln Riley at the time.

It can be LSU's mindset all they want
What if all of the hot names say no?

You CAN NOT be this stupid. These agents are whores for money and could give two shits about some backwoods govna' saying anything about him. It actually plays into his demonic hands to get more money because of the comments.

Here’s my problem with all of the “inside info”.
No matter how many degrees of separation, the information you receive is information that came from the agents themselves. What makes us think they would just reveal their hand? That’s not how deals are made. Did we not learn from Lincoln Riley?
