Yeah, an arguement can be made that he's the best DB coach at recruiting. I don't know if i'd consider him to be an elite Db coach as far as coaching.

There were 4 secondary coaches that were ranked higher in recruiting last season and Raymond came in at 93rd overall..He is currently at 150 for this season.

And who was the recruiting coordinator for that team?
is it not kiffen's failure? was he not the head coach? at least be intellectually honest in your criticism. Kiffen fricked up Tennessee. It was a failure. Your attempt to spin it as a success story is a joke.

I never said it was a success story, Jesus Christ. I am not spinning shite, you are the one spinning what i said, I even called Kiffin a douche. My whole point was that Kiffin is a better head coach than Orgeron, and i posted stats, not my opinion, stats(other than calling Kiffin a douche).

You were the one who brought up his recruiting class while he at Tennessee as a reason to call him a failure, was that recruiting class a failure, yes it was, all i did was once again correctly point out that Orgeron, the guy everyone seems to want as LSU's HC also had a big hand in that failure. Having a failure of a recruiting class does not make him a failure at Tennessee. The biggest thing he did to frick up Tennessee was bolt in the middle of the night to USC (along with Orgeron, but not until after O called some of those same recruits and tried to convince them to not go to class to make it easier for them to transfer out of Tennessee), forcing them to hire Derek Dooley.

I am not advocating for Kiffin, i do not like him and want him here about as much as i want Coach O to be the HC at LSU, which is not at all.

so it's just a non-failure then? So after having a crater where this recruiting class should have been Kiffen was poised for great things at Tennessee?

Kiffen has failed at every single head coaching job he has ever had. Every single one.

Whose to say the class doesn't turn out differently if Kiffin stays. The manner in which he left matters, sticking them with a shitty coach, you can't just say he would have failed if he had stayed. It sucks the way he left, he is a POS but that doesn't make him a failure because you say he would have been but whatever dude, you win. I'm tired of arguing with you over semantics because I made a simple comment correcting someone who Im pretty sure wasn't even you.

he left after 1 year, so he didn't even have time to put together a full recruiting class. The first one would have been at least in part started by Fulmer and the 2nd one closed out by Dooley.

His record at Tennessee is inconclusive. No one is calling a success, people that just hate the guy (which i totally understand) are trying to spin him as 2 time failure.

He is! Just not a three time failure. He's had three h.c. Gigs has he not? He was fired twice. Not sure what math you use.
