There’s a reason LSU has never had any coaching tenures that are a long term.
Saban left for the NFL and our AD wouldn't re-hire him b/c of ego.
Miles was here for a decade, dude.
O was an idiot. He'd have stayed if he didn't step on his own dick and start thinking he knows anything about coaching football (and if he could stop thinking with his dick).
ALL THREE won natties. OU hasn't won a natty in over 20 years. If coaches value titles, how would they ever rank OU over LSU?

Hell I imagine the market for domestic abuse will be stronger than the DWI stuff.

I truly love this board when threads like this are posted.

Then get canned. Even A&M is out recruiting you now. You know that. The players in Louisiana want stability. If old school Jimbo can beat you recruiting with an antique offense imagine what Riley knows he can do once he’s in the SEC:) the model has been set, you guys will go to the bottom and you know it. That’s why you’re so worried. You want a little 12 coach:) funny to me.

I think once, maybe about Freeman?
But still, in UT I Trust. When that man speaks you listen.

Whatever makes ya feel better brother. No one wants to stay at LSU. I doubt Riley wants to end up coaching at Kansas no matter how many championships he wins!

Check your email. See you on the OU boards.

No. No you won’t. Oklahoma will be a 4 to 5 loss per year team in the SEC. can’t wait for the day when you Chokelahoma fans realize that you’re just not SEC caliber.

This is one of the oddest things on TD. He's never before claimed to have sauces or made any predictions. He's not some proven insider.
Maybe because he is an OU fan and there has been no relevant news on the OU coaching front for over 20 years?

At OU, it's much more likely he slides as opposed to advancing.
You Big12 guys buy into the "SEC brand" stuff too much. It worked for TAMU a little because they were the only ones, but mostly it worked b/c Jimbo is an ace recruiter. Once you get 3, Texas-centric schools in, the pitch will lose any luster.

Then get canned.
You're talking about Jimbo and A&M passing up LSU, well don't you think that goes into the equation of firing Orgeron? The powers that be saw the program eroding from mismanagement of roster, public image, etc.
LSU can be a school that rides off into the sunset with a shite coach and not care about football.
but it went a different way.

Where are you going to get your players, exactly?
From Texas, with two SEC schools?
Georgia?
Alabama?
Florida?
Louisiana?
Maybe you can pull a few from California, but not with the inroads Cristobal is making.
The reason you lose is because you are forced to recruit nationally, because Oklahoma is a talentless shithole of a state. But as in-school states grow and join better conferences and have more money...where does that leave Oklahoma?
OU won't be a big dog when it comes to the SEC. It'll be a street mutt begging for everyone else's scraps.

Freeman told Orgeron, Verge, and Scott that he was coming to LSU and on his flight home changed his mind. By then it had gotten out. I know a few folks that never reveal anything and they told me Freeman was done.

We’ll see won’t we:) you think Riley thinks that? If he does why would you want him. If a@m can beat ya’ll. So can OU.

All-Time Series: LSU leads 2-1
Last Time: LSU won 63-28 in the 2019 CFP Semifinal in the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl (Dec. 28, 2019)
Every matchup between LSU and Oklahoma has come in the postseason. The first meeting was in 1950 in the Sugar Bowl. OU won that game 35-0. LSU wouldn’t get revenge until the 2003 Sugar Bowl, 21-14. The latest contest was over by halftime due to the efforts of Joe Burrow and Justin Jefferson.

We had to fire our last 2 coaches. Both wanted to stay.

Our former coach, who was so mediocre he made Kansas worse, won a national title here (and played for another).
If Riley was smart (which he is), he'd see that and wonder what a good-elite coach could do at LSU. Our last one set us up for a dynasty and left for the NFL.

Yep. Freeman took the terms sheet and used it as leverage at Notre Dame. Folks got in his ear about LSU's staff being gone in the next season.
They were right.
They were right.
