and even though you like Miles and wanted him to stay, are you now in your heart sort of hoping he moves on now?

Will you be slightly disappointed now if he decides to stay?

No, I want him to stay. We could upgrade, but we could also downgrade. I know what we have with Miles, and I don't mind it (assuming he fires Crowton).

I agree 100% I am not excited about a new coach unless it was Jon Gruden and it will not happen so.

a new coach would be fun, but theres a lot to be said for stability in the program.

Honestly, no. I don't think anyone that LSU could target will have me immediately feeling like we upgraded. Not that I won't get behind them, but 62-17 in the same division of the same conference that has won the National Championship repeatedly in the last few years... It's gonna hurt.

Will Miles still feel pressure to fire Crowton after Cotton Bowl and Michigan has offered job? Seems like, if he stays, he'll be strutting around like a rooster saying, "I like this offense" etc.

id rather have some stability, but it is exciting to think about potential replacements.

If he stays he needs to do some shuffling on the staff starting with Gary

I'd be excited if the new coach was Patterson. For most of the others mentioned so far, not so much.

no

Im confident our offense would get better. I fear that recruiting and defense could suffer, as well as the integrity of the program if we get a douche.

I want him to stay even make more money

Just not alter the contract in any other way...no change in duration

Having said that if we could get mullen Patterson Peterson I would dance in the street

Not yet. Until an actual true list of possible replacements would come out, it's hard to get excited for anyone. Rumors can be fun, though.

There will be a lot of name change requests if he doesn't stay!

I'm anxious. I just hope we don't land another CEO type of coach instead of a coach who is actually a real good teacher himself. At times it seems like we have Co-head Coaches(Crowton/Chavis) instead of one(CLM).
