My source has a source with a source who guarantees that Ron Cooper will be named DB coach by Jan. 13.

I actually do LOL. Whoever it ends up being will get a sleeper that I've been working with the last few weeks. Tulane offered recently and he will likely catch fire soon. LSU is one of his top schools too, so we will see how that works out.

Makes sense. The dam has broken along the DL with recent NFL announcements and lack of recruiting at the position the last few cycles. Might have to run a 2-5-4 defensive front in ‘24

My wife wishes lol. Just been laying low and working on some projects. I said I was done with media over a year ago, but I have been getting the itch lately, especially with my guy Blake back in the building. If CRay does join I just may have to get involved somewhere again.

Good to hear from you again.

Will have to admit, I had to quit following you on twitter. Your outbursts towards those who, shall we say, weren't big fans of our work became a bit much.

Hope you're happy now

I get it. That stuff wore me down over time. I'm a combative person and can't seem to walk away even when I know I should. It was part of the reason I needed to step away.

I can imagine when you put yourself out there like that it has to be hard to deal with the extra nonsense that comes with it.

Shoot, I had to quit following Marcus Spears for kind of the same reason. He's actually pretty good at responding to that crap, but he responds to EVERYTHING. He tweets something about a game, people start responding, and he seemingly replies to every.....single......one. My timeline is nothing but him railing against some twitter idiot.

Live your life, I suppose

He's getting this info directly from Raymond

Haha yet you still haven’t learned. Everywhere else doesn’t have a clue either, and have been wrong about every hire BK has made.

Dang how did I miss this thread, hope all is well brudda
You gonna attend the draft with Malik?

Send them DTs instead of skill players. Pat Jenkins and Cam’ron Jackson would be good.

I think most are completely okay with Raymond not getting the job depending on who else we'd get

It’s not bad news. Raymond is a retread coach who regressed in his later years at LSU and demanded more.

Chevis Jackson would be a much better hire since he has done way better with fewer resources than CR.

And if Brandon Taylor is interested, better give him a look too.

Thanks. That's actually encouraging to read.

Baker is being very well paid to help figure this out along with Coach Kelly.

I would prefer someone other than Raymond as the DB coach, but surely we'll see in due time what will happen.
