Moore County Airport...
I'm in North Carolina and not far from there. The only thing close to it is Pinehurst (site of the US Open). Its also a luxury hotel, etc. Not a bad site if you want to do business interview(s) but defintiely a haul from anywhere in SC and NC. That said, it is very private, exclusive place. If you were going to Pinehurst then you would almost definitely fly to Moore County.
Charlotte, Wake Forest, UNC, Raleigh, East Carolina all have much closer airports that one would want to fly to before going to Moore County.
Possibly, I could see if you had business in Raleigh through the weekend (i.e. Stuart Scott funeral) but that is a stretch.
As for golf, it about mid 40s now and this weekend its getting into the 20s. I seriously doubt this.
I follow recruiting some and I am pretty sure there is no one in the Moore County area on LSU's radar.
So in summary, I don't have a clue, but it could be a place to conduct one or a number of interviews.

I am hearing that LSU hired Chavis back and it's been a 90% done deal since last week.

Yeah, I'd think you'd want to fly into Piedmont Triad International if you were going to Winston-Salem. Who really knows, though.

The only reliable posters on this board are all those guys from Auburn. At least I know I can trust them.

This is the place.

The more I think about it, its a good place to have meetings in a very quiet setting. No media or riff-raff is getting in there easily.
I've known that sort of stuff to happen with military leaders from Fort Bragg are conferencing/meeting Pentagon/CIA brass.

Makes sense. I'm from North Carolina and I know there's not a lot around there. It's a nice escape.

this has been the most stupidest, empty, desperate, humiliating, exciting 20 pages of the year.

There will be at least 3 or 4 more names thrown out before all of this shite is done. Don't pay to stress until we have more to go on than some radio guy (who was completely melting down yesterday) throwing out bullshite to boost his ratings.

1) Hannagriff has some pretty good connections @ LSU and in BR so he's not just "some radio guy" making shite up.
2) You generally don't pull the ratings booster stunt midway through your Friday show.
3) I enjoyed his meltdown and he wasn't really far off with anything he said.

Impressively, 17 Illinois players coached or recruited by Zook were drafted into the NFL between 2006-12, a number that included five first-round choices and three second-round picks.
Prior to Illinois, Zook made his debut as a collegiate head coach during a three-year stint at Florida,
Zook also held a reputation for being an excellent recruiter at the college level.
In his time as head coach at Florida, he signed 10 Parade All-Americans in three years, after the school had managed a total of 20 in the previous 12 years.
His 2003 recruiting class was ranked in the top three nationally and featured eight future NFL draft picks, including first-rounders Jarvis Moss and Reggie Nelson.
That legacy as a recruiter was further cemented two years following his departure, when in 2006, 22 of the 24 starters on Florida’s BCS National Championship team were players who had been initially recruited to Florida by Zook.
Saints’ defense led the NFL with 119 sacks over the course of his two seasons and ranked No. 10 in the league in points allowed in 2000.
Before making that initial foray into the NFL, Zook spent 18 years as a college assistant, earning his first opportunity at Murray State (1978-80), before making stops at Cincinnati (1981-82), Kansas (1983), Tennessee (1984-86), Virginia Tech (1987), Ohio State (1988-90), and his first tour at Florida (1991-95).
