Yeah, but at the time it was "health related".

Eli Gold? I guess bama pushed him out.

How does Georgia approach this weekend series now that they've clinched the SEC regular season?

They throw all of their arms and play all of their studs. They will have bye's in the SEC tourney. You don't want your players going well over a week without seeing the field. Baseball is a game of repetition.
quote:

Auburn people need to tell themselves that they're better fans because what else are they going to do, claim that their program is equally as successful?

I haven't seen Auburn fans disappearing during the Harsin/Freeze years. the stadium is packed and loud every game.

quote:

Am I lying about the fact that fan support was strong enough to justify expanding the stadium during that period?

bryant-denny was expanded so you could host the IB. It had nothing to do with "fan support".
quote:

That's funny, because I'm old enough to remember that they had to expand the capacity of Bryant-Denny in 2006.

Typical Auburn cope to deal with cheering for a school mostly known as "Alabama's rival."

he isn't lying.

I grew up in Florida. We would go to B'ham for Thanksgiving every year. During the bear years, 8 of 9 trucks had the bama see-through mesh on the back window. bama shite everywhere. During the mike years, you wouldn't see anything bama for miles and miles. saban showed up and bama fans came out from under every rock and crevice.

It was a good weekend. I wish we would have wasted two of the long balls yesterday though.

It was a good start. That OU bunch is scrappy. We need to find a way tomorrow.
ahhhhh, thanks.

ETA 2:00 Central SECN+/ESPN+ tomorrow

7:00-12:00 SECN Sunday
So is the Tourney over? I was wanting to watch today and forgot about it.
On paper we have a better team. We still need a true PG. Find one of them and lets ride.

Great series. I am proud of our bunch. We went through a lull but it looks like we have come out the other side on fire.

It was a good weekend. I wish we could have figured out a way to get game 2. It was nice to see the bats wake up a bit. Petrovic pitched a gem today.
Yeah. Steven knows what he is looking for. I did a quick once over on dude and saw nothing that gave me the tinglys. He has played against some grown men, so................

Freeman in the portal

I hate that. The kid is just scratching the surface, IMO. Hopefully he finds his way back home.
quote:

If Taad is/wants to play off ball more,

I don't see that happening. He was told at the combine last year the 1 is his option in the NBA. IF he stays, hopefully he improves at running the O. He played better early in the NIT. In the second half, against Tulsa, he regressed back to dribbling around looking for his shot.
quote:

247 is saying we are and have been involved with Dowd from Troy. I wonder how that would work out with SWA and potentially Freeman all playing similar positions. Dowd is more of a true stretch 4 where SWA is a little of the 3 and 4 and Freeman more of the traditional wing that could give Overton a rest at times. Not sure that's a realistic scenario but it's fun to dream

depth and talent is never a bad thing.
