He has an offer on the table and is mulling it over. Lots of opportunity to lead a program where you once roamed, but big decision for family and also coaching wise.

Orgeron has a couple decades of experience as an elite position coach, it's not about one good season as a head coach

ER is the best DL recruiter in the country. Really good developer too.

Hopefully he helps us get back to winning some East Texas recruiting battles

Not sure why some people are so obsessed about Coach O being on the staff. 2019 was awesome but he caught lightening in a bottle. Did yall forget about 2020?

I'd take Robinson all day over O.

Noboby melted more over the Orgeron hire for head coach than me. I really don't care if Orgeron is on Kiffin's staff or not. But there were solid reports that if Kiffin came it was likely that Orgeron would be on staff. I guess all of those reports were wrong.

He also has to weigh what kind of staff he can put together and what players will be in the roster after the dust settles

Probably from O or his camp just putting it out there that he would be open to working on Kiffin's staff.

He's 67 years old, been out of coaching for a few years.

And not coincidentally, he’s popped back up just as LSU’s last check has been deposited. Blondes and booze aren’t cheap

ER is a much bigger get than O for this job.

Cap'n Caveman is 64 years old. He looks good for 64, though.

Should be Grecian Formula for Men spokesperson.
