But, make no mistake, he likes to get the attention. He makes a single post and then leaves. He's intentionally vague about certain topics. You have to take the good with the bad.

You're confusing him with another "insider".

He came on the board after DALSU and claimed after everything happened that he had info that suggested DALSU was actually correct about last year.

Now, he has sources, and it sounds sometimes like a Faulkner novel.

I asked about Herman. My source said, "That baw isn't coming to LSU. He's gonna be a good guy."

Gundy might be freaking scary good with Arranda. McClesky (WR)wasn't even on LSU's radar and he would run circles around our wide receivers. Tyronn Johnson would be in a bind though...haha.

people get locked onto their guy for whatever reason, Herman or Fisher, and anything else is a failure to them

A Gundy hire would make a lot of sense

My barber who cuts a TAF member's hair said:

Herman to LSU

Fisher to Texas

Gundy to FSU

Les back to Okie St

I dont know why people shite on Gundy, hes a great coach who has done way more at Okie Light than Les did.

Why would Gundy leave his Alma Mater?

He lost me at Gundy as well. I agree. I don't think Gundy has been nor will be a serious candidate for this job

I just do not understand them not even interviewing Herman. It makes no sense.

So, they didn't even interview him?

he followed Les once before and certainly built on and improved on what les miles did there. 104-48 at Okie Light is not something to scoff at

If LSU hired Gundy he would probably be the most proven and accomplished coach LSU hired in it's history. Can't think of another coach LSU hired with a better resume coming in

This, the people freaking out about Gundy make me laugh. He would kill it at LSU, he is a really good coach. He is almost 60 games over .500 at freaking Oklahoma State.

Why is landing Herman looking slimmer by the day?

Gundy would be an excellent hire.

People just don't like him because he's goofy and has a mullet.

But the truth is, he's one of the most underrated coaches year in and year out.

So now if any of the 10 coaches talked about are hired you were right. Congrats!

he's been pretty straightforward that the ball is in Jimbo's court, Herman isn't gonna happen, and we are looking at Gundy and Fedora

it's not that far fetched

It was Jimbo Herman O. Then Jimbo Herman Fedora. Now Jimbo Gundy Fedora. He mentioned more in whacked threads. Lol. He knows about as much as anyone else. Not much.

No doubt. Add in the talent that Louisiana would provide.

I really don't see how anyone, ESPECIALLY the fanbase that was ready to hand the keys to Ed O a couple of days ago, could see this as a bad hire.

Dude would f'n kill it here. Look at what he has done there and compare it to what Les done there. There's really no comparison.

He's an offensive wizard and he has improved upon what Les done there and has maintained it for 12 years.

you do realize this isn't the only piece of info he's given right? Most trust random because he has been right about a few hires in advance

Cam Cameron and Steele come to mind

it's also not far fetched to believe he was told O is out after the UF loss

because he looks like this. If the dude would cut his hair, he'd be one of the top targets in the nation.
