UCLA isn't the dream job some think it is.
I remember the last time UCLA came open, there was a story somewhere about how it's extremely hard to get quality assistant coaches there for these two reasons.
Westwood has an extraordinarily high cost of living. If you're an assistant, you're either having to live at or above your means to live close to the facility, or you have to live further out and get caught up in the horrific LA traffic. $400k/year goes a lot farther in a place like Lincoln, Nebraska or Stillwater, Oklahoma.

These are good points. They don't have money to throw at you like UF would have. I'd be concerned about that if I were Chip. UCLA, however, doesn't have the expectations that the UF fanbase has.
