Mond regressed big time and y’all got stomped 50-7 in your final game keep pushing that narrative though. Y’all are in a very similar “fools gold” position to Texas

Mond had NO offensive line this year. The loss of our OL coach to the NFL was incredibly damaging for 2019. Let's see how next year goes

You say that. But, the powers that be at Texas might not be willing to give Herman that much to work with. Remember, Herman was given the job because of what he was supposed to be able to bring on the offensive side of the ball.

Certainly, he can hire and fire coordinators. But, needing a huge budget for a high level offensive coordinator is an indication of a fundamental problem with Herman.

I think Fisher is worse than Herman.

Fisher struggling himself is probably the only thing keeping Herman in this job. If Aggie was starting to look like it's turning the corner, Herman would be kicked to the curb.

From a distance, it really looks like he doens't have a clear vision of what he needs to do. Being slow to act is an indicator of that.

What are Herman's strengths? I'm struggling to see what he does well. He seems to be a very average gameday coach. Program Management has been a disaster. Defensively, the guys he's hired to run the show have failed. And, offensively, it's been spotty. And, apparently, Herman's vision is that he needs a big time offensive coordinator. The way he carries himself isn't all that great. I've seen multiple interviews/press conferences where he seems shaken. Maybe recruiting?

Is it recruiting?

If it were me I would go find some kid killing it in FCS or something rather than settle for a b level retread

Apparently Harrell is ratcheting up the pressure on Bijan. Texas falling apart down the stretch - lost best WR last night to TCU, and have fallen all the way down to #10.

If they lose Bijan as well, the sips are going to revolt and burn down Herman's house

If Bijan flips they might as well just fire Herman now.

No, it isn't recruiting.

Its the ability to beat single teams on the schedule if he dedicates time to prepare for them.

Hence the win over UGA. Or OU the season before this one.

Harrell stayed at USC because dumbass Herman won't give him full control of the offense. Thars bush league. Let your, offensive coordinator run it the way he wants to. Jesus. I'm pretty much done with Herman. If he loses b rob then watch out for 2020 being hermans last year.

My guess is he's the HC in waiting. If Helton goes, wouldn't be surprised to see him step in and fill the void.
