Go back to UGA douchebag.
I'm a lame 3 yr old girl because I called somebody out on their story about a uncle who is Skip Bertman's personal advisor

quote:Del Rio is a no-nonsense guy. Maybe he doesnt like the high maintenance pro players. Maybe he wants to be king fo a whole state instead of just a duke in a town that is one of 3 NFL cities in Florida. Maybe his wife wants to go home and be closer to the girls. Maybe its none of this. I franly dont understand why anyone would think he WOuldnt be interested. I dont know if yall realize it but LSU is now one of the elite college programs in the country.
Why would he leave the NFL gig when has a team with promise?
quote:I said Spurrier was the #1 choice of the boosters, not that LSU was SS's #1 choice.
Spurrier is not interested in LSU job per his agent, despite what you are hearing, (directly from the agents) but added, that could change quickly
quote:no we dont. thats the problem they thoght they would have answer by now.
So all these booster fired up about SS, do we know if the man will leave USC?
quote:If I have to answer this for you then the explanation would take too long.
and what are the main reasons they want him?

longer it goes on, I agree. that means the spike of initial outrage has faded.

I don't know. Saban just needs to stay where he is and we need to move forward.

Nothing at all about Pride, it is about a gluttony of 3 loss seasons (or 6 if your bama) with one great one thrown in.
I will pass, thanks.

Rocket, what does LSU need now? Obviously saban is a good builder...
I think we need a 10 year run with someone...stop the changes
I believe saban could do that...retire at LSU a legend....
See, i don't agree. I think he is an excellent builder, but not a sustainer. His personality runs its course on people and becomes abrasive when all is right. He doesn't know how to amend it, ala Parcells. Another amazing builder, but loses his control and cool when it gets rolling. Saban's style works when something is truly needed to right the ship, and that's ok, he did it for us and very, very well. But now we need a cool, collective guy at the helm that will maintain.

the big advantage Saban has is that he is younger
Jack Del Rio is just the right age.

I also reported earlier today that Skip called my uncle last week (for insight only, my uncle makes no decisions but his opinion seems to be highly respected up there) and asked what he thought about bringing Saban back - my uncle said F no.

Why would you go to such great lengths to burn yourself?

Why are you so worried if people believe you or not? In fact, why are so worried about what people know and dont know? If what you say is true then sit back and take self gratitude in the fact that you are among the few who knows what is going on.
Do you get paid to spread this information? If this information turns out to be accurate down the road will you get some large bonus for being the first to spread the rumor on TD.com?
What do you have to gain by sharing with the rest of us what you and your uncle know? You surely must know that people dont believe stuff on message boards very easily.

No you know what, you set out to inform all of TD.com that your uncle is Skip's advisor and you have succeeded, congrats on that.
If everything you typed out turns out to be accurate I will send you a box of chocolates and nominate you for poster of the year when nominations come around again.

Interesting....maybe Saban could mellow some..
Seems like Parcels was adored by his players....
Watching the Cowboys at 11-1 has me stratching my head. Would Parcells be 11-1 this year?
