Goodness Gracious, whats the total LSU is paying in buyouts? And is Woodward good at this?

Is Woodward really as good as yall say since he has presided over this mess?
Coach O is getting 17 million
I read to buyout his current staff is 9 million.
Pelini got bought out at 4 million.
Lenehan got 1 million
Cregg is suing the University.
Anybody else I'm missing?
I'm sure yall will say so what those buyouts are chump change in the big picture, but won't Woodward have to pay a big buyout to get his big name coach hired?
This all coming on the heels of LSU athletics losing 80 million last year and a pending Title IX sexual misconduct investigation into the athletic department.
Someone please settle my fears and convince me that the man pulling the strings (Woodward) is actually good at this.

I will only add that I hope Woodward gets the hire right. I hate to have to do this all over again in a couple years.

Its less about the money and more about the decision making... which Woodward has been a part of.
Thats a lot of dead money based on decisions he ok'ed.

You use "a part of" to casually, as if he was part of actually making the decision to hire said people. He paid O after he won a championship. That's typical after winning a title as for assistants, he already stated that he gives his head coaches leeway to make assistant coaching hires of their choice. That's an important detail that future coaching candidates will want to know. Thrycwill either live or die by that sword.

Woodward is great at fixing his mistakes with other people’s money. It’s not some great AD skills but more that he just offers ridiculous contracts that the other guy can’t say no to. It’s not his money so he doesn’t give a shite.

Should not have given Ed O and extension or buyout, IMO
If that would have lost him, oh well. He wasn't coveted by anyone else.
