Do you want people second guessing how you pour and smooth concrete all day? Especially some suit that pushes pencils all day in the corporate world? Then stand aside and quit doubting the people that do this for a living, have the details on what the previous contracts allow or don't allow him to do, what that $17mm is actually buying. Yep, LSU has to spend money to cover up its coaching hire mistakes. I do have doubt in the Admin's direction, when the same year the Athletic Department asked staff to take a 5% pay decrease, let staff go, froze new hires until 2023, and went begging hat in hand to boosters because of the Covid shortfall, is the same year he made this move.
