If we end up with someone like Napier for this job, we'll have an indication of how LSU is perceived nationally...not very good.

And it's in Waco Texas and prior coaches didn't do any better. He works hard at recruiting and would recruit just fine at LSU.

Yeah Baylor is about the 4th or 5th best cfb job in Texas. It's a stepping stone job. They will never have top 10 recruiting classes.
