Gase is young enough to where that wouldn't worry me so much.

This all day. Would really cement his reputation as being a sterling, first class human being if he left UL this quick after the season they are having.

Very nice to hear. Petrino could be very dangerous at LSU. He was in my top 5 earlier in the year before we fired Miles.

So the "gentlemens agreement" was a bogus story. Shocker.

At this point I'm just scanning coaching changes board looking for Random LSUs threads. Seems like this guy is in the know.

Thanks for all the updates!

If Orgeron wins out, why wouldn't you want to give it to him? There aren't many coaches that could win out our remaining schedule. I understand what he did at Ole Miss, but he didn't have the talent, resources, or the coaches we have now. Les Miles wasn't anything special, he just had really talented teams and a great DC most years. In 2008 when he didn't have a great DC, well, we saw what happened. I'm not saying he's the next Saban, but I am saying if he wins out the rest of his games he deserves a shot and if we get neither Jimbo or Herman we needn't look any further.

If Herman is not available the best option is Petrino and stop with the Jimbo talk, there is going to be complains from day one (even without the losses to Louisville and NC).
Coach O is a better option than Jimbo.

I don't think Petrino leaves UofL unless his wife gives the blessing. She loves Louisville.

So you really don't think at all Herman is in play?

I just wonder if Petrino does that mean Aranda is gone...

I tend to agree he stays at Lousiville but LSU should definitely talk to him to gauge the fit this time.

Petrino is going to get a call or an interview or both. Was told today, Petrino will be contacted and potentially interviewed.

The Florida game not happening was bad for O.

Not that I don't believe you, but why would he get punished for a situation that is not his fault? Herman has been my first choice but after this weekend is his stock higher? I know it's one game for each but I would think that Orgeron would get a fairer chance than that.

Yeah I mean he's actually been trying to save his marriage and wants to keep his wife.

I'd let my wife ride a motorcycle with Bobby if he became coach.

sorry to disappoint her though bc it is unlikely.
