They're fairly close. Not as close as O and Kiffin, but pretty close. At least based on their public statements, I wouldn't worry about that.
If the checkbook opens the way it does for Aranda, it could work - short-term.

Why? Give me some hard evidence as to why you think this is the case? Don't just talk about something emotionally. Learn to interpret statements and data related to a situation and convey them in text.
Freeze has openly stated the only reason he was a head coach was because of Ed O.

The funny hypocritical part of all this is that UT wouldn't hire Schiano because he was linked to Penn State pedophilia yet Freeze was diddling kids at Briarcrest and they don't give a damn.
