Arky State would prob have to go close to a million for it to be more money. Frank currently make $650,000 at LSU.
Not sure what Arky State pays their head coaches or if they would want to pay that to someone without HC or coordinator experience.

Hard to pass up a job that guarantees a better job in one year.
Even if it is a Sun Belt school.
Great recruiter with lots of ties in a border state.
Only major program in that region of Arkansas.
New surroundings and new challenges.

but honestly, Frank is recruiting Lights out for LSU
it would be a BIG loss if he left, but who are we to hold him back from him achieving HC status.

I like that the Bama fans are acting like 10yr old girls. They're on the Bama board saying shite like, "join me in the Frank Wilson thread on the CCB. Give them a taste of their own medicine." Then they other idiots chime in with "yeah, let's do it." This whole ordeal has brought out the worst of both fan bases.

I don't think anyone can replace Frank. We need to pay him top dollar to stay on board. It would hurt our recruiting a lot.

The article mentions Eddie Gran (was runner up last time) & John Thompson among others. I'd think Arky State would look for someone who plans on being there for a while. I'd bet on either of those two being the answer.

The timing of this is noteworthy though. Fournette is having his official visit this weekend. With there being so much uncertainty about Wilson's position, will Fournette choose to play for Burns instead?
With the foothold Saban has already established in LA, will it become more widespread now that LSU's best recruiter may be out the door? Not to worry though. I'm sure Stud can handle more recruiting responsibilities

Rhett Lashlee will be the next HC at Arky State if they can work out the BCSNCG timing.
