The timing of this is noteworthy though. Fournette is having his official visit this weekend. With there being so much uncertainty about Wilson's position, will Fournette choose to play for Burns instead?

With the foothold Saban has already established in LA, will it become more widespread now that LSU's best recruiter may be out the door? Not to worry though. I'm sure Stud can handle more recruiting responsibilities

Keep fighting the fight chatta.

That'd be a great hire for them. Think he really moves on after one year?

I think LSU knows what they have in Frank and will offer him more money and a bigger title just to seal this class this year.

Seriously, I assume LSU would offer him 1 million if we had to.

I was responding to the Auburn fan.

I see LSU keeping Wilson. If theres truth to Cam being CIW, think that Wilson is OCIW?

Eat a bag of dicks brah. It's because of your stupid arse fan base that Chicken had to create a separate board when Saban went to Bama.

Fournette isn't going to Bama. Ask me how I know.

I like that Saban gets a few top La guys and he has an "established foothold" all of a sudden. What about all the other top La recruits he lost out on?

Saban has consistently pulled a few top guys from LA every year. Wilson is undoubtedly the best recruiter you have. Isn't it logical to think that your recruiting could take a hit if your best recruiter leaves?

It happens. LSU consistently pulls top kids from Texas, Mississippi, Florida, etc. Losing a few kids from La isn't going to hurt LSU in the long run. Losing Frank Wilson would suck but we'll manage. We had good recruits before him and we'll get good recruits after him. Sound familiar?

Why isn't Chicken commenting on these rumors? Doesn't have a source that is in the know? He must be too busy spreading more bullshite on the Saban to Texas thread.

There is a certain guy from La Tech that can come on down if Frank leaves.

Right both of whom were extremely successful OC's. I'd be surprised if they throw that kind of money at a running backs coach.

Think about LSU's last RB coach and ace recruiter that left for a HC job and how that worked out for him.

I think that is where some teams will be wary. Porter's miserable failure as a HC doesn't really help Frank out in that department, although Wilson is a significantly better all around coach.

Right, the HC job is completely different from any other. Besides recruiting you have to have an eye for talent on staff hires and you are responsible for keeping everyone on the same page and guiding the whole program. There's really no training for this except to go out and do it. Some guys can, most can't.

Has anyone started an "If Saban leaves will UA start fast tracking to SMU status again?" OP?
