Some team already does. And the Houston team knows. Any team playing at the level they were before all the speculation/rumors/agent meetings just doesn't tank like they did. The wind was gone from their sails prior to Navy.

C'mon man.
If what RLH said is true it is being handled quite poorly. Hiring a coach based on one game and no road games is about as terrible they could get in their decision making process.
If it's all just misinformation being leaked then they are handling it incredibly well as another poster mentioned.

You know we can do that shite all day with coach O, so I don't see why you would play that card.

Agree. Taking the reigns of a major program is a huge step. I am not sold on him at all.

Your source still confident?

I really don't have a problem with someone saying this about Herman - so long as they have the internal consistency to notice we have evidence about Orgeron and it isn't good.
Herman would be an unknown as a head coach in the SEC. Believing that he would succeed requires projection in the absence of evidence. But believing Orgeron would succeed as a head coach in the SEC requires projection in contradiction with the majority of the evidence.

Only an LSU fan can be so obtuse. I heard that Cleveland Browns fans were happy to get Romeo Crennel in 2005 over the other candidate. I believe the sentiment was, "Let the Miami Dolphins risk their future on the guy that can't beat UAB".

A lot of teams have lost to Navy in the past few years. Va Tech hired a guy who lost to Navy and I'd say that hire looks pretty good right now. Navy is going to beat Notre Dame on Saturday
