Do you people not understand what "interim" means?

Don't waste your breath. For most on here, nothing short of Saban will do. The Coaching 'tards on here really believe that guys like Jimbo and Herman are pleasuring themselves with the prospect of a call from Joe Alleva.
If Orgeron continues to win in the manner that he has, it would be hard to justify letting him go. You could have a whole bunch of Juniors possibly declaring for the draft depending on who the new coach is.
Saban leaving and then coming back and coaching at Alabama has mindscrewed LSU fans for at least a generation

I'm sure the players are furious at the thought of having a coach that won a NC just a few years ago. Or another bright mind that schemed a great game against Nick Saban and also beat the previously mentioned coach a year ago.

Based on what? On what happens, IF he does so, and they are gone in a year?
He promoted a TE's coach to OC. That TE's coach set three all-time LSU records in his first three games. He has averaged a 29 point advantage in all four wins. He has averaged a 27 point advantage in three SEC wins.
I would say so-far so-good. Wait until he gets a real OC. Even if the new OC doesn't work out he can always re-promote SE to OC again. So, that is one of the things that should be of least concern to LSU fans - the worst that can happen is they stay with a record setting offense winning games by an average of 29 points.

If Ensminger is doing so well why are people pushing so hard to replace him?? If you want to keep O you should want to keep Ensminger as well.

"Can he run a multi-million dollar company?"
It's not like he is out appraising property, spends half his day signing checks, attending budget and forecast meetings or is dealing with CEO's from other multi-million dollar corporations.
LSU is a state run organization and LSU has plenty of administrative staff. I'm sure the admin staff goes to Alleva for questions and concerns - that's his job not O's.
If Les Miles could successfully run a multi-million dollar corporation such as LSU, I have no concern what-so-ever that Coach O can do it.
If it was that difficult, people like Donald Trump would be coaches and 85% of head coaches in the country would have a different profession.

Did anyone watch O during the Arkansas game? He doesn't do anything besides stand there looking like he has heartburn.
what did CLM do other than clap like a seal, look completely befuddled, and eat grass?

They are clamoring for him to be replaced because he is a TE's coach and I heard he doesn't even want the OC position. Why would I or O want to keep a TE's coach as OC? I don't exactly follow your post.
My point was, that if a TE's coach can come in and set records and beat the shite of the other teams (except Bama) with five games on the job, it would be down right scary what LSU could do with a real OC as opposed to a TE coach.

So previous work experience only applies to OCs and not HCs?

Probably well before he gets to 28 losses in 48 games

With Jimbo you will get more of Miles plus he's a real asswipe. Also there will be less institutional control of the players....see Jameis and some of the other players.
I like the idea of Herman, but I am not sold on him. Winning at Houston is one thing, but winning in the SEC is quite another....see Sumlin.
I like the idea of Gundy because he has as good an offensive mind as Herman and he has a ton of experience with recruiting
Don't know much about Fleck....sounds like flavor of the month
Fedora loses games he is supposed to win....see 2016 v. Duke
It should be someone from outside the normal cast of characters.

And how has that offense done when there wasn't a complete and total talent mis-match in our favor?

You mean with the TE's coach who has been on the job for five games? Against the best team in the country?
How would they do with a good OC is the question.

This moving of the goalposts has to be tiring

That is the biggest positive to me. O can hire a good OC for the future. If for some reason the new guy doesn't work out or leaves for another job the worst that can happen is O can re-promote SE to OC again. That is the worst case scenario for OC. So we may lose to Bama and win the rest of the games. That's the best you will get from any other HC anyway.

pretty sure i could win most of our games considering he inherited the preseason #3 ranked team in the country, quit acting like he came in and changed everything.. all he did was wake up a sleeping giant.. that is all.. no he doesnt deserve the job based on what he is doing now..
