Auburn does not mess around at all. LSU and UGA under Richt were content somewhat with mediocrity

This is coming from some guy named Josh Moon on twitter. Apparently is a reporter in Montgomery, never heard of him. Some more interesting tweets on his feed, just google him.

"Trying to nail down a few details, but the candidate they have apparently approached - and who has been receptive to their interest - is a very well known and successful college coach."

I've seen too many 'unverified reports' to get excited.

I would be surprised if Malzahn gets the boot this year. Where there's smoke there's fire... I think these rumors are just AD / boosters letting Malzahn know his seat is getting warmer.

I thought it was bull shite, but it seems to have some serious legs.

Gus will still be here next year

We moved quickly on Chizik but everyone knew that had to be done

Auburn does mess around. The governor got involved when they tried pushing tubs out years back. They have the same corruptness as LSU. If they pull this off LSU is so fricked it isn’t funny. Saban Fisher and stoops. We have Coach O and his aarp offensive staff. God help us.

*ASSUMING* this is true...

Stoops will bring a spread / up-tempo offense with him to Auburn. He'll make the Auburn defense excellent. He'll recruit at a high level. He'll be a tough out for Saban.

If Orgeron wants to keep his job, he cannot stand still this off-season.

Popular name ATM is Bob Stoops.

He's gonna come out of retirement to be Saban's bitch?

Although I think Stoops can match Saban for program success and organization, but, Stoops has said that he did not want to die on a ballfield like his Dad did

I think he means it. He had a lifetime job if he wanted it in Norman

flight to Norman tomorrow

Stoops goes to Auburn and hires Kliff as his assistant.

Why is Gus's buyout being overlooked. Obviously big money in cfb, but his is quite LARGE.

because it should be looked at as a sunk cost. they are going to have to pay that money anyway and they may be able to negotiate it down to being with. the only times buyouts truly screw someone is when they have to paid in full in a short amount of time. like what sumlin had with a&m
