Coach season has been pretty lackluster so far, but this has the potential to really kick it into high gear. Who are the prime suspects to be the possible replacement?

To the point that a replacement has been identified and initial meetings held to gauge interest. Happy, Monday
Let the wild speculation begin.
I'll go with Mike Leach

Word on the street is Bill Clark

He would probably be a good choice, given what he's done at UAB. I'll be honest, though, that I have watched no UAB football this year. Is he a system guy? Is he considered an offensive or defensive coach?

On top of this ive heard from mizzou insiders that Kelly Bryant is down to auburn and mizzou. Hopefully this gets to him!

When you write a check to a guy for $33M to fire him for coaching football, when you fly in a fleet of helicopters to hover and dry the field, there’s too much $ in college football.
So much money being wasted on dumb decisions by people making a lot of $ with no accountability. Meanwhile tuition, surcharges, and ticket prices keep rising. The appetite for college football is huge. I wonder if people have a limit to it.
One thing is for sure, schools will keep pushing until they reach it (if there is one).

We have a guy that wears white shrimp boots that would be a great fit in Auburn!

This is coming from some guy named Josh Moon on twitter. Apparently is a reporter in Montgomery, never heard of him. Some more interesting tweets on his feed, just google him.
"Trying to nail down a few details, but the candidate they have apparently approached - and who has been receptive to their interest - is a very well known and successful college coach."

If they get bob stoops and LSU is stuck with Cookie Monster I think most LSU fans will go insane.

I figured he would go to Ohio State when Urban leaves. I guess Ryan Day gets OSU job.

Urban said once again today that he's not going anywhere. So much for McMurphy and Cowherd's "sources."
