I have never seen them do this before. Hoping we can get the popcorn ready.

Ladies & gentlemen, the deep recesses of @zach_barnett's devious mind is about to lead the college football world on quite an adventure. Brew a fresh batch of coffee, pour a shot of whatever it is you need to get through this in there. Put the kids away, check on your in-laws. Prepare yourselves as best you can for #NuclearWinter IX.

I'm not sure they're even using the term correctly. I thought nuclear winters were supposed to cool the climate and kill the environment.

I’m glad this isn’t open to interpretation. Wait, never mind…

Friends, although much of this has actually come true over the years, this is your annual reminder: #NuclearWinter is fictional.

This is not real.

The purpose of this piece is to illustrate just how wild the annual head coaching turnover can be at the FBS level. No, we wouldn't go as far as anyone actually buying out a $77 million contract, that would be... You get it. This is just a fun way of sharing the craziness that is coaching changes. Rejoice & be glad.....

I don't understand what any of this is, but apparently it's for entertainment value

This is sarcasm. They're making fun of HC searches and how people react to them.

Harbaugh and Riley to the NFL.

Kiffin to Michigan.

Kelly retires, Saban returns to LSU,
Kiffin goes to A&M then is fired upon having an affair with one of the male yell leaders (something in the water there), Bellicheck goes to Bama, Les Miles coaches New England, Dan Mullen returns to State, and Aranda goes to USC after they fire Riley, who then coaches middle school football in Alaska.

Don’t doubt my source!
