Dellenger is quiet on this and claims to not know the list. Given Woodward’s MO, I would bet Dellenger is more keyed in than he is leading on and will break the story first. Those who say they know, don’t, and those who say they don’t know, do… The baseball search was similar but with Kendall Rogers getting those dibs. Would not believe any report this week not from Dellenger. It is probably more informative to believe the opposite actually.

I really don’t see why Riley would leave OU. Especially if his family is locked in like is being reported. I would love to have him because he is an offensively minded head coach. I will be equally excited for Aranda due to him being highly intelligent and very stable. We know he can coach a defense and would need a high level OC. It appears Riley gets big raise and stays where he is comfortable.

Yeah but Dellenger has risen in that industry by making key connections and having rock solid sources who go to him with information - and you don’t keep those long term if you have a reputation for burning people. It’s why he has broken every major LSU story the past 5+ years essentially, including the Orgeron settlements agreement most recently.

Yeah, I'm not sure about Ross Dellenger having information, but I am convinced that nobody knows anything. I no longer believe Riley was offered 12 M per year. I no longer believe Riley was offered at all. Regardless, Riley will not leave OkieU, and I'm sick and tired of allowing myself to be just gullible enough to think for even a second Riley and family including Boomer and Sooner would leave there. I'm done with it. Hell will get a cool front when the Rileys leave OkieU for any other college job.

I agree, and as much as I dislike that Dallas tiger poster, I'm now switching to his and your line of thinking on Riley. That sumbich ain't departing OkieU a.k.a. Heaven on Earth (apparently the greatest place ever).
