I don't know how many times Stoops has to say he's done coaching before people believe him.

Not sure the SEC would sign off on Kelly.

Strong would be a Strong hire though IMO, as long as Spurrier will leave him alone.

I tried telling ya, Frost isn’t interested. He’s a Nebraska lock.

Seems like fake news. I don’t think they have reached out to Strong . I am sure they have reached out to The other 2 . I believe Spurrier has already said he reached out to Stoops but Stoops has not returned his call . I wouldn’t be shocked if it’s stoops . Hoping for someone younger .

At this point, I hope Frost goes anywhere else, so we can watch the meltdown

So this is who you "reached out to". Who are you actually going to get?

Exactly!

I could "reach out" to Bill Belichick to coach a flag football team, but that doesn't mean he'll accept the offer.

This is like the fourth time Stoops has been on their "list".

I think he may have to file a restraining order.

From what I've been told, the mutual interest has already been established... just waiting for the season to finish up, then they'll work out the details and he'll be back in Lincoln.

Lol ok. Nebraska's ceiling is Iowa. If he goes there he's crazy. You have no talent base at all. Nostalgia doesn't win NCs.

Strong is actually an interesting case

I don't think Strong has much of a shot at all. He should have been hired when Meyer left, but that ship has sailed.

Why would hiring him after Meyer left would be better than hiring him this time around? I think the results would have been the same or a little bit better but not get the job done. It was not the recruits at Texas that hurt him, it was his coaching at big time school at Texas and Florida is just as bad for him because of huge demand to get results and fast. Look at Louisville when he was there. Was not that great. The power 5 might not be the right fit for him. Taggart is struggling at Oregon right now. Same kind of guy as Strong.

Nebraska might be best for him since Florida is in a huge mess and maybe he does not want to be in that huge mess and Nebraska is not that bad of a mess.

UF is not a huge mess. Nebraska has nothing on Florida except he played there. They just fired their AD. Theyve won nothing since the early 2000s. If he goes there good luck. He'll have to travel the country to recruit. He has already said he hates that. You can't polish a turd. Nebraska's a turd.

Guess he’s crazy then, because that’s where he’s going

The road to the playoff is easier in the B1G than it is in the SEC. No reason why they can’t be on the level of Wisconsin.

Actually, no, that’s not all Nebraska has going for it. His family (including his father who played for Nebraska), friends, and alma mater are all in Nebraska. The coach he idolized is at Nebraska, and wants him to come back. His wife doesn’t like Florida. He will have a much longer leash at Nebraska if things don’t turn around right away. Past coaches have spoken about what a great guy our new AD is and what a pleasure it is to work under him.

But go ahead, keep telling yourself how awesome Florida is. Actually, my all-time favorite player is from Bradenton-Manatee: Tommie Frazier. Steve Spurrier still has nightmares about the 96 Fiesta Bowl
