Jimbo was a great recruiter, and he was proven on the field. WT isnt
Taggart has had two very impressive stops at smaller schools, is an established elite recruiter, and has more on his resume as a head coach and program leader than Jimbo did when he was hired.
This is a really good hire for FSU. He’s going to cleanup in Florida.

Well, at least you all had a great year and lived up to expectations and won the Pac....
If a down year is 10-2 and going to the Fiesta Bowl, I'll take it. I've been tortured as a fan for like 14 of the past 16 years so I'm pretty happy about the season
I sleep well at night knowing that Petersen is our coach for the long haul.

Very debatable but obviously that's a personal choice.

Agreed, I'd take living in Oregon (Especially Portland or Salem) over Florida in a heartbeat.

10-3
10-3
5-6
All mediocre teams and a shitty coaching staff that just happened to have enough FL talent to win games (minus this year)
But I guess going 10-3 would be a big deal at A&M

I'll help you out. Salem fricking sucks.
You'd like it Bend.

winning the orange bowl and having a top 10 finish literally last year is not doing shite in years. got it
Posted on 12/5/17 at 3:32 pm to WestCoastAg
Did you watch that game last year? We played a shitty Michigan team and were lucky to back into the Orange Bowl.
Posted on 12/5/17 at 3:32 pm to TheOcean
so now it doesnt count unless you beat a team that you find to be not shitty?

I thought for sure we were in the Alamo Bowl. The metrics really liked us this year. A lot of blowouts and 2 very close losses. Both losses were coin flip games that went against us. Although, same could be said for our game against Utah. 12-0 was our ceiling with a couple of breaks, 9-3 was our floor. We ended at 10-2.
The injuries absolutely decimated our roster though. I think we're down like 1/3 of our starters. Having our corners out against Stanford cost us the game, imo.
