The rumor is circulating. Auburn kicked us with Waller and Amaris, would be nice to get some payback

Sure, you can have him. He is responsible for the worst defensive call in Auburn history, and is apparently a real peach to work with.

Weird. Are they promising he can be the interim hc when Sunbelt is gone by midseason?

The guy had some boneheaded decisions this year but I didn't hate him

Who would join the Florida staff with Billy going into his last year. Hoping to sign a 3yr deal and wait for a buyout when they all get canned?

You realize Auburn probably told him to look for another job, right? This is addition by subtraction.

Please take him off our hands. He has an offset clause in his contract and apparently he’s really hard to work with.

He will also passively aggressively tweet at your fans when they voice displeasure.

Outside of some head scratchers in key parts of some games he isn't a bad DC, but LB coach might work out well.

There has been talk of his dismissal for a week or so now.

This is Auburn giving Roberts a chance to move on in semi-mutual fashion. If UF doesn't happen it certainly sounds like he'll be out anyway.

Roberts did pretty well for us but all reports are there are some fit issues and it's just not viable going forward. I'm sure he'd be a good get for UF if he finds a little more alignment with the rest of the staff there.

He's worked for Billy as a DC before and Austin Armstrong was a grad assistant under him at Louisiana. I'm sure they think the fit is there.

Interesting. Auburn probably wins 2-3 games if their defense wasn’t top 45. Seemed to me like the only Auburn unit with a pulse this year.
