Regardless of people's opinions on the guy, you are absolutely correct about this. Paul has tons of SEC connections. He's basically OG SEC sports.

If we see more articles coming out this week that seem to be guiding Kiffin to Florida, I think we need to prepare for a let down.

Wow Finebaum just when I thought you couldn’t sound any dumber, you absolutely top it with this asinine opinion. Did that goofball really think Kelly had LSU going in the right direction? Because if he did then he and most LSU fans were watching two totally different LSU programs.

Why don’t he just come out and say that he’d rather Kiffin be at Florida than LSU than to make up that dumbass reason as to why lol

It took Prime Steve Spurrier, and Urban Meyer with Tim Tebow to win their 3 trophies.

It’s harder to win there than LSU

This guy is my favorite Florida poster. Either he keeps real or he's a master troll.

That's crazy because I thought he felt that that Kiffin should stay at Ole Miss initially. Now he thinks it's Florida? And the reasons he gave? Very idiotic.

This part here is asinine:

quote:

“I think Florida right now is riper. The fact that Florida looked so bad last night makes that job a little bit easier than LSU. Kelly was good, maybe not great, but LSU had everything on its shelf this year to win a title. They just couldn’t get it done. So, I would gravitate toward Florida a little bit.”

That's more of an indictment on Kelly (here and at Notre Dame) than it is LSU. Florida, I would argue, has had more of a problem keeping coaches. LSU isn't running through coaches every 4 years. Mullen had them closer to something relevant but fired him for the same reasons LSU fired Kelly.

Think he's a massive troll but still entertaining.

Exactly… why would I want a a 10yr old ford that needs a complete transmission overhaul just to be able to pull a toy boat when I can get porsche from a guy who put regular unleaded instead of Premium in the tank and never once took it onto the HWY over 50 mph?

That egg head sob wants Kiffin at Florida because he knows Kiffin at LSU is the end of Bama’s chokehold on the SEC.

Vintage Finebaum non sequitur. He and Tubberville would make the perfect political clown show team in Alabama and we'd never have to hear his sports gibberish again.

He’s been a boring stale person for some time now. Why ESPN picked him up is beyond me. It was probably because of the entertainment those inbred bammers brought each day, but overall the show was dry and boring, and hasn’t changed much.

He’s smart and follows the SEC religiously, but his takes are sometimes head scratchers. Plus the years of Bama obsession I don’t trust anything he says about LSU now

His schtick has gotten old IMO. Its not relevant anymore. Hes just an old bald guy that no one cares about anymore.

There's losing and then there's losing while you've already checked out.

BK got fired because he checked out and everyone knew it. He would never amount to anything solid and we all could see it. That's why he was fired this past Saturday.

Finebaum knows the impact Kiffin would have at LSU. They would replace Alabama at the top of the SEC and he doesn't want that to happen his grand ole Tide. Can't wait to see him tear up when he signs here.

Everyone saying this is showing how worried they are IF he were to come to LSU.
