He missed his dream job (Michigan). It is Michigan admin's fault to not make it happen the last two times.

It is impossible the Michigan job will be reopened before he retires.

I really feel bad for him. But happy for you LSU fans, you get a great coach.

JH is heading to Ann Arbor. It is a done deal now.

Yeah. LSU job is as good as Michigan's.

For the coaches, there are always some other stuff attached to the school you played.

JH comes back to Michigan because of that. Les wants to come to Michigan is for the same reason.

In preparation for the bowl game and to keep his team focused wouldn't he say this anyways to respect his current team?

If the MI job was Miles' dream job and he really wanted it, he would have courted MI as soon as they had the opening. He didn't and they didn't court him. He's done moving if he can help it from the looks of things. I think MI would have been a dream job BEFORE he came to LSU. Not now.

His dream job isn't Michigan, or else he'd been there a long time ago.

No. In 2014 (or 2007 or 2011 for that matter), it's better. Almost alone by virtue of the disparity in high school talent in Louisiana vs. Michigan.

There are very few LSU fans that want him or appreciate what he's done.

For LSU fans, it's Saban, Saban results or bust.

Feel bad for Les? He's going to have a loaded team the next few years to make another run at an SEC and national title (needs to find a QB blah blah we know). And is getting paid $4M to do it. He'll be fine.

In the next 10 years if Michigan makes the playoffs 1 time "their back" only to get blown the frick out by am SEC team. Michigan won't be relevant for a long time to come, elite coaches know this. Hell Urban already knows he's fricked on the 1st.

To be fair, people see Bama's current success and ask, why not us? The expectations are not unrealistic because they are being fulfilled at a school in our own division.

I don't feel bad for him. If he wanted Michigan, he should have left the first 2 times they offered him.

Laugh as long as you want. Wait and See what will happen in two weeks.

With all due respect to LSU, it is still a 2nd tier program compared to BAMA.

Michigan is at the same level with BAMA.
