Should Brady land the HC job, he may decide he wants Peetz and Mangas to join him.

If Joe Brady gets an NFL head coaching job, would that be the fastest career advancement in football history?
Two years ago, he was a glorified intern with the Saints.

This would be a homerun. Terry is a Lake Charles native. LaGrange Alumni. Would be exciting.
Joe Brady would do wonders for that offense and help groom whoever their Rookie QB will be.

I doubt he is going to grab Peetz and Mangus. If he was he wouldn’t have sent them over to O.

O strikes out on Freeman then loses these guys? yikes.

I don't see Brady doing that with Peetz/Mangas, but anything could happen.
Brady is going to be calling the offense wherever he goes, so perhaps he choose not to burn the University that gave him his meteoric rise.

that was before he got serious with the falcons.

Brady was set to interview with like 3 teams while also telling those two to go out and work for O.
Unlike what some believe O and Brady have a good relationship. Brady isn’t going to burn that up by telling O to give these guys a chance and then taking them back.

Is Brady getting consideration from his time at LSU still? Because his Panthers offense was pedestrian.

Saints fixing to get 2 3rd compensatory picks to draft players to beat the Falcons for years to come. Lol

What in the world has Joe Brady done to deserve an NFL head coaching job

I would be surprised if Brady gets a HC gig. His offense in Charlotte was meh (but I think that's mostly because we had a noodle-armed chickenshit retard at QB) and he doesn't have much of a network built up in the league.

It would be one of the fastest I can remember. Lane Kiffin is probably the closest comp. But even he was a college position coach, then OC for a few years prior to being named the Raiders HC.
Frankly, I don't understand the Brady ascent to this level. Yes, what he did at LSU was remarkable. And yes, he was without his best player on a below avg. Carolina team. But it's not like he set the world on fire with that Carolina offense. NFL analysist to LSU PGC? Reasonable. Best OC in the nation in 2019 to NFL OC? Probably a bit of a big level jump, but still not unreasonable. But average OC (at least this year) to HC? That seems like a huge leap

Not dissing the guy at all; but curious what makes him a homerun hire?
I am an avid Saints fan and have never heard his name before. Just had to look him on their site. Generally, outside of Loomis, the 2 most heard front office name for the Saints are Dennis Lauscha and Jeff Ireland. Just curious why the Falcons targeted Fontenot.

They punched up the entire season. Brady called some great games and made some mistakes. You hire Joe Brady because of his upside. Let him learn while working on a full rebuild.
Personally, I don't think LSU has anything to worry about with Peetz. Brady will likely be placed around veteran coaches. That's what you do with young coaches like McVay and LeFleur. Surround them with experience to fill in for their gaps.

NFL owners make questionable head coaching hires all the time so I can see him getting hired even tho I think he is another year or two away from it happening. I for one would prefer to see more post Burrow years as an OC before making that hire.

Honestly owners see the success of McVay, Stefanski, Lafleur and Shanahan. It's these young hot shot offensive coaches that are the hot commodity right now.
Even the Bengals head coach, can't remember his name falls into that catefory.
Brady is another one.
Until someone like Kingsbury or Riley can translate it from college to pro ranks these young NFL up and comers are the hot commodity and that's why Brady is still hot and heavy for all these positions.

He is a big voice in their personnel department and has a great reputation. I believe he was finalist for Jets GM job as well.

Can’t wait for them to hire him and still get 10 different “why don’t we offer Joe Brady a lot of money to be OC” threads anyway

I'd find it more questionable if he didn't make runs at Peetz and Mangus if/when he gets the job
