I'd find it more questionable if he didn't make runs at Peetz and Mangus if/when he gets the job
Why? Brady will be his own play-caller. I'm sure Peetz wants an opportunity to call plays and make a name for himself. Mangus would be in line to replace Peetz if he gets an NFL OC job down the road.
Probably a better opportunity for both at LSU.

Wouldn’t the bigger threat be that Peetz stays in Carolina? He knows the offense.. doesn’t have to move.

Perhaps. This was his only year with Rhule, so they don't have a history.
I don't know the dynamic there.

I don't know, he recommended them knowing him getting a head coach job was a possibility. He is likely going to retain play calling duties

He’s going to be running the offense either way, the LSU opportunity allows them to run an offense without him and increase their value. He’s probably real close with them and wants to see them rise like he has.
He also might want to build a staff that’s a bit more experienced to make up for his own inexperience

Unlike what some believe O and Brady have a good relationship. Brady isn’t going to burn that up by telling O to give these guys a chance and then taking them back.
This is one of the most ridiculous takes about this whole thing. And to be fair, I've seen it from multiple people. If Brady gets a head coaching gig, and he thinks those two guys can help him win more games, he isn't for one second going to think about O's feelings when he calls them back. Business is business. It isn't good business to not do everything you can to try to win more games. If he doesn't come calling for them, it is because he doesn't think their addition to his staff would make his team better. That doesn't mean they won't be great for LSU.
To make the point a different way, there is a reason they have NFL clauses in their contracts. There is a reason Joe Brady had an NFL clause added to his contract last year.

It's amazing to me what Joe Burrow did for Joe Brady!
I mean I don't blame him for moving while he is still a hot name but I am just not sold on him as a HC.

Joe Brady..........fastest career advancement in football history?

Bet he goes after Moorehead

J.D. Roberts was coaching a semi-pro team when the Saints hired him. And he didn’t last long or do well. John Mecom was one of the worst owners in NFL history. He had an astronaut running the club for part of the ‘70s.

Just curious why the Falcons targeted Fontenot.
A lot has to do with the NFL’s diversity rules for hiring, but also trying to catch some Saints lightning in a bottle. I too had not heard of him until recently. His story and rise within the Saints organization is pretty interesting.
