Expect Dan Mullen to be unemployed soon

When your staff is being out-coached by the two least talented coordinators in the SEC and by their blowhard know nothing coach at LSU, then it’s time for a change. Fla’s blowout loss to Ga was embarrassing enough, but the way the Gators loss to LSU has to.be the most embarrassing in their history.

They are both rough losses (although UGA was expected), his seat gets red hot if he doesn't make changes on Defensive Staff or even the OL coach(Hevesy).
I'm fine moving on from him, but I can also give him next year provided the defensive staff and OL coach all get changed up.

I mean the UF job is a top job but you get 3 years max to turn it around and if not you are out. If im a top coach that's a big risk.

I think most of the top jobs are like that now. Gene Chizik and Ed Orgeron won national championships. Twenty years ago that would probably get you a lifetime contract.

Unfortunately, I think it means he’s a weirdo, doesn’t like recruiting, hasn’t hired good recruiters, and Florida won’t win much over the next few years.

That game was over in the last 2 min of the 1st half, by your QB and turnovers. That was out Mullen's control IMO. I'll let Mullen slide on the UGA loss. They were actually doing pretty well till 2-3 min left in the 1st half.
Now I would look seriously at getting rid of the DC, for not knowing how to stop the RB counter.
Richardson is not a good QB...maybe Mullen can develop him but with a bad QB and defense that can't stop the run...you will not be successful.
Trask made Mullen look good last year.

Where do you people keep getting this stupid shite? I think Mullen sucks and I’m glad he’s at UF but he is NOT getting fired this season. It was less than a year ago he had them in the playoff hunt. I would expect changes to his staff, especially DC, and a serious and tough conversation between Mullen and Stricklin about his future. He’s safe for now though.
